Do essay topics change every year or can I start writing earlier and make them better. Apps are still not out for Fall 2005!

Yeah, the new apps may not come out for another two months. While we advocate starting on your application (especially your essays) as early as possible, we admit that it can be hard when they don't release the new apps until late summer.

The good news is that the questions *mostly* stay the same from one year to the next. You might just see minor variations, such as one smaller question replaced by a new one or a word limit changed. The main questions, such as "Why do you want an MBA?" and "Why are you interested in our school?" and "Talk about your most difficult leadership challenge," tend to stay the same from year to year. The wording of each question may change slightly, but the central purpose of the question will probably stay the same for those most common (and important) ones. So, you should be fine if you start now.
