I asked this over in the Columbia forum, but just curious to see what the masses were doing...

When you upload essays, are you including the question in the header? Are you including your name as well? Thanks for your help.

Just uploaded all my essays without any headers (unless the school specifically said to do so) --- now I'm kind of reconsidering that, except that once you view the completed application pdf, most school systems automatically add your name and a temporary ID number of some sort to the top. With that, I think it's okay if we leave them blank, but if might give you peace of mind if you added at least your name to the top.

Now to figure out if I actually want to re-upload all my essays....

I am writing out the essay question (not in the header though) because there's only 1 file to upload for essay 1 and there are 2 questions. When I tried previewing the application without the question, it's not clear which essay question the answer is for. Just to be on the same side, I'm writing out the question.

I'm doing Times New Roman, size 12 font, double spaced.
