Hi RJSPO - the essays are indeed the hardest part of the applications for many people! There's a whole bunch of essays on the EssaySnark blahg that we have reviewed
in the "life experience" category (we are also [url=https://gmatclub.com/forum/free-professional-essay-evaluations-by-essaysnark-155192.html
]the official essay review provider for GMAT Club[/url] but we haven't gotten any of these types of essays submitted yet - maybe yours will be the first!).
This is the type of question where they want to know how you're unique. Take some time to identify those areas of your life and background and then focus in on one story that captures that (or maybe two - we're not certain which school's essay question you're answering). Usually you'd want to talk about something that happened to you in this essay, not something that you accomplished, though it's possible to go in either direction. The story you pick needs to fit in with and reinforce the theme of your application.
Be careful of TMI! You want the essay to be personal but don't lose sight of the fact that it's an application to a professional program.
These essays can often give the adcom real insights about who you are as a person so they're very important. Hope this helps you get started!!
