No - hence my nick is just bsd_lover (not freebsd_lover). I just like the freebsd daemon avatar ;)

The "Emory" comes from the school I wanted to get into. The "Hopeful" comes from the school I was hopeful to get into. Talk about creative!

"BCC" is the acronym for the primary school I went to. "145" is my class number. Not that creative! :-D

:D GMATClub is fun! I've been using this nick solidcolor on several forums, but have never explained about it.

Solidcolor, simply a strong visual effect. Something to talk about myself too, kinda single-threaded, whole-hearted, one and only. Moreover, it's something about Zen and peace of mind. Well not quite, say when you look into a solid colored pane, you either find a perfect peace of mind, calmness and quietness, or you will go mad for its boredom. :)

 Talking about sublimal marketing, I should have printed an "ADMIT NC" watermark on all my essay pages. That would have taken care of HBS and MIT. Too late now :(

In Turkey, people call employees of ministry of finance as "maliyeci" no matter he is a clerk in a tax office or he is undersecretary. "Maliye" means "public finance", "ci" means "er", i.e. it means "public financer"

I've used the LRW moniker in other forums and it's pretty simple:
I'm a gal... who travels a lot (consultant).

Sanjuro is a movie directed by Akira Kurosawa. I usually am at loss of words to describe Akira Kurosawa. Most adjectives do injustice to what he means to cinema and Japanese culture. (I am not Japanese)

Though I don't consider Sanjuro as one of his greatest creations, the role played by Mifune is quite memorable and stylish. The movie is a good satire and fun to watch.

The picture attached is also my profile photo in facebook. lol.. now you know who I am.

Mine is probably pretty self explanatory...I am married to Jon Stewart.

Not when we're awake of course. Just for those 6 or so hours when I drift off to dreamland. When we're awake, he is married to a nice lady and lives in multiple million dollar homes and I live alone with my dog in Brooklyn...so basically, we're both doing pretty well.

Honestly, I picked it on a whim. I was tired of all of my other online handles and in a lot of ways, my chances of getting into the MBA program I want are about as good as my chances of marrying Mr. Stewart. But it doesn't mean I can't try...to have both of my dreams come true ;)
