European degrees and translation issues [#permalink] New post 25 Dec 2009, 11:58
Hi,
I have a grad degree from a French school and I have to get it translated. I had it done 2 years ago, but it turned out to be a really botched job! I was wondering if anyone could share their insights on this.
I also contacted a nearby Alliance Francaise and they quoted a price substantially less than what some other places had done.
Mind you, this is 2 sides of a degree and 2 pages of transcript, but one place quoted me $520.
If anybody has any experience in this, please share some information. If anybody has used the AF to do translations, let me know as well!
Thanks

PS, if I am making a big deal about it, let me know as well :P
