Hi all,

I am thinking of applying to the following unis:

LBS, Imperial, HEC, Insead.

I'd like people's opinion, specifically on LBS vs Imperial and HEC vs Insead. I've been reading stuff like "Imperial is more technically focused" (if that even makes sense for an MBA) or LBS has got more prestige over Imperial, Insead is for people who want to go to consultancy etc.

Also, are there any people out there that had done an MBA to a say non-top10 unis and have had difficulty to find a job? For example what are the chances of doing an MBA in Imperial and then have to look for a job for months (especially if planning a career change say for instance from software development to finance).

LBS and INSEAD are head and shoulders above Imperial and HEC. Imperial is a great Uni but I believe their MBA programme is relatively new.

If you are looking at finance, LBS offers the best option in terms of how many people they place into finance and also the location.

I am curious about this as well. Are you an international student?

I am interested in applying to LBS but am worried about attending the school due to the hurdle of work visas when it comes to employment. The UK has really been cracking down on immigration and limiting the number of visas that get issued.

Is there anyone that has experience with this? I am recruiting for Bulge Bracket IB positions is sponsorship a non-issue?

sorry hijack the thread but i think work authorization is probably your biggest concern here.
