I am no expert in profile evaluations, but thought I would drop my impression and bump up the thread. You have an incredible profile, except your gmat, for the top b-schools you targetted. Even if you try for higher 600s, I am sure your profile stands out from the rest of Indian applicants and becomes competitive for LBS, NYU etc. Given your success with CA, ICWAI etc. it should not be impossible if you prepare hard and try again.

Here's the ONE thing you need to do:

Do whatever it takes to boost that GMAT score by 90+ points. That should be your sole mission - enroll in GMAT prep classes (either online or classroom) or hire a private tutor if you have to.

If you're able to pull you score to a 700 or greater, you will be competitive for schools like LBS, INSEAD, IMD, Booth, NYU or Columbia. Good luck on the GMAT!

As I said before, you'll be competitive so long as your GMAT is above 700. If it's not, any commentary on your profile is moot.
