here here... did 5 years of electrical engineering. Both B.S. and M.S. are in engineering. Leaving the tech world to do some management/startups in hi-tech... does that count?

Add one more. BS/MSEE with 7+ yrs of experience.
Auditing an accounting class at local univ to get my first taste of non-tech courses. The only business-related classes I've taken are economics, statistics & operations more than 10 years ago.
Flexible with career path & depends on where I end up going to school. I know thats taboo for some, but I guess I am keeping my 'options open'.

BS/MS Computer Engineering. Took one Econ class in undergrad. Did, however do a 6-week financial training when I was programmer at an i-bank and passed trading exam in Japan. I have some vague nothions, but am also "open" to whatever presents itself.

Is Industrial Engineer technie enough?
The closest I've worked to actual operations was at a supply chain management job, though.

I dont have an admit this year - but I'm a mech. eng undergrand, an Industrial Eng grad, but most of my work has been in IT implementing a supply chain product. Im certainly wondering how Im going to make the transition to general management.
