Exam in 5 days - Need tips for improving verbal [#permalink] New post 16 Jun 2013, 02:15
Hi Everyone,

I have started my GMAT preparation since may. I started with the first GMAT prep practice test and scored a very dismal 590 (Q47,V25) on 12th May 2013, although I was disappointed I knew I had a whole month to prepare.

I am done with OG 12 and QR 2ed, still not done with the Verbal Review 2nd edition. Today I appeared for the second GMAT Prep test and scored 680 (Q49,V33). I am really disappointed with my verbal score. The problem is I am not able to figure out the question in SC part as I do in quant section. I am not able to spot the errors quickly and fail to pick the correct answers. I got 18 incorrect out of 41 in my latest GMAT Prep.

My exam is on 21st June and would need some guidance on how shall I prepare for my verbal section in coming days. I am targeting a score of 700+ and hence want to score at least 38 - 40 in verbal.

Thank you for your help in advance.

The fear of up-coming result of exams always is a cause of tension, which leads students to different directions.
