Exam scheduled on 31st Jan [#permalink] New post 24 Jan 2012, 00:25
Hi guys,

I have my GMAT scheduled for 31st Jan. Any thoughts on whether I should reschedule my exam will be appreciated. My target score is 700+.

I started my preparation little over a month ago.

Following are my practice test scores:

12/18/11 - GMATPrep 1 - 620 (Q50, V25)
01/02/12 - MGMAT01 - 680 (Q49, V34)
01/10/12 - GMATPrep 1 - 700 (Q50, V32) -- Some repeat questions
01/14/12 - MGMAT02 - 700 (Q47, V38)
01/15/12 - MGMAT03 - 680 (Q48, V34)
01/20/12 - GMATPrep 2 - 710 ( Q49, V38)
01/21/12 - MGMAT04 - 720 ( Q50, V38)
01/23/12 - MGMAT05 - 730 (Q51, V39)

Would it be worth rescheduling my exam to achieve my target score? Or should I give it a shot?

Thanks

You seem to be on track. I would not reschedule. Keep up the momentum. And keep these psychology tips in mind in the next week.

Sounds like you're in a good spot. Especially if you perform the same way under pressure.

Practice some SC over the next week so you can firmen up that verbal score a bit, too, to make sure you're squarely over 700.

Thanks Zeke, Faro, BB.
So, I guess I will not reschedule.
I just took MGMAT06, and scored 750(Q51, V41)

For some reason, I found each MGMAT test simpler than the previous one. On the last one I had approximately ten minutes remaining on each of Q and V sections. Did anyone else experience the same?

Great score first of all.

I think the MGMAT6 can get a bit weak on the harder questions since you have exhausted the question pool - yes, I have seen that before (not to be alarmed but don't relax and start celebrating yet).
