hey,
here is my attempt:
exchange for:
to trade something for something else, the key word is SOMETHING
exchange something for something eg: I will exchange this one for a larger size.

exchange with:
to trade something with someone, the key word is SOMEONE
eg:Let's exchange coats with each other.
