experiences - how far back is too far? [#permalink]
26 Dec 2006, 11:43
For one of the essays I am thinking of using 2 examples to back up my point. One would be experience as a TA in college, the other current community invovment.
My only worry is that maybe using college activities is going too far back in time. Any opinions???

I think college is fine. In fact, I try to lay out my essays so that I can cover a variety of points beginning with college and leading up to what I'm doing now. Since the schools all ask different questions, I need to try to fit different examples in at different places, and talk about them in different sequences.

I think how far shouldnt matter as long as you can tie what that experience taught you to its relevance today
Like I have an experience some 12 years ago but the skills I learnt from that is very much applicable and i have evolved for the better because of that
