Hope everyone is doing good ! I am very new to this place and this is my first post so excuse if I go wrong somewhere.
I need an advice regarding my career change before applying for admissions.
My Profile: I am currently working with one of the Big 4 Audit companies as an Associate Analyst - Compensation. Prior to this I had worked with a financial company for 6 Months in a Business Development Role. Its been 12 months now in my current company and I am not happy with the profile I am doing as there is very little scope to contribute my skills in managerial level. I think my skills can be better utilized if I will be given a chance to contribute more towards business. I am planning to quit this job and join a NGO full time so that I can contribute my knowledge, Skills and experience in a effective manner.
Educational Background: Graduation - BBM (Bachelors of business management) specialized in Marketing Management & Human resource with 70%; Duration - 3 yrs Post-Graduation - PGDM - BIF (Post graduate diploma in management - specializes in Banking, Insurance and Financial services). Attained 76%; Duration - 2 yrs
I have scheduled my GMAT for next month and aiming for 700+, working hard towards this goal.
I need your valuable suggestion regarding - Is this the best time for me to shift to another organization? because I will be having only 2-3 months of experience in the new organization before I start applying for B-Schools. Would this decision impact my chances of getting into a good B-School? Currently I have 24 Months of experience as a whole, including internships.
Please suggest what are my chances of getting into a good B-School.
