this was taken from GMAT prep:

2^((4-1)^2)/2^(3-2)

My wrong solution:

2^6/2^1 = 2^5

My wrong solution:

2^6/2^1 = 2^5

= (2^9)/(2^1) = 2^(9-1) = 2^8

your solution is the answer to the following:
(2^(4-1))^2) / 2^(3-2)
