This may sound dumb to some of the members, but can anyone tell me where to include Extra-curriculars? Is it in the resume ? Do I have to make a separate section for this? I really appreciate ur comments.

Resume? For sure. Make a section "Other" at the bottom of the page and list all your current extracurs there. College extracurs should go in the "Education" section of your resume. But also most schools make a separate section in the app where you can talk about your social involvment. And it is always a good thing to mention a thing or two about your extracurs in the essays (where it fits).

Does anybody have a sample resume on how to build this section?

I don't put my involvement under the education section - I've seen great resumes that do it either way, and I think it depends on what you're highlighting. I also hate saying "other" on a resume. It seems that if something has value, it can have a more valuable heading.

Here's a bit of what's on my resume, though the formatting is better on the real thing:

LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Ithaca Health Alliance
Treasurer
Aug. 2006 to present
Ithaca Free Clinic Volunteer
June 2005 - July 2006
Ithaca Cooperative Softball League – Founding Member
June 2003 to present
Alternatives Team Co-Captain & League Commissioner
April 2005 to present
Recycle Ithaca’s Bicycles—Advisory Board
May 2003 - Oct. 2004
