what kind of extra curriculum activities do B-Schools look for from graduation school level .
The schools are not looking for specific extra-curricular activities! They don't obsess about surfers/sky divers/calligraphers/abstract art painters/part-time hackers etc. The point is that extra-curricular activities are a part of who you are, a part that tells them what you like doing when you are not doing what you must do - attend school, study for tests, work on projects etc. Your hobbies/extra curricular activities tell them whether you take keen interest in something beyond curriculum. Once you are done with your exams, how do you spend the next 10 days? It doesn't matter whether you hit the gym or the computer programming books - you need to give them insight into who you are. They could even be school activities that are not compulsorily a part of your curriculum. If you chose to take part in them, they are your extra-curriculars.
