Hi Linda,

I am planning to apply to Kelloggs and University of Chicago for their spring semester that begins in March 2005. I have a good resume and my GMAT score is 700. Although I have diverse interests, I have not participated in any competitions. hence, I cannot assign dates since these are my hobbies and are ongoing. Please let me know what is the best way to document this in the application form. Also, how important is involvement in social causes? FYI, I plan on doing the part-time course at both the above mentioned schools.

Thanks in advance! :?: :?:

I assumeyou mean March 2006.

You don't have to participate in competitions. Give approximate dates when dates are requested. "2000 to present" for example.

Involvement in social causes or community service is helpful, but realize that "community" is a broad term. If you have been involved in a hobby and taken initiatives in that hobby or participated actively in a club related to that hobby, it all counts.

Good luck!
