Can someone please help me with this question? Its a DS. The answer is (1) only but I'm not sure why

What is the greatest common factor of positive integers x and y?

(1) The greatest common factor of and is 5.
(2) x and y are even.

couple of points:
- this question looks incomplete. Please see if statement 1 is missing something.

- it is a practice here not to post ans (OA) at the beginning.This helps other people solve question unbiased.
