Fall 2013 Essay Topics Publication Dates [#permalink]

Hi everyone, I'm starting to prepare my applications for fall 2013 in the US. I already did my GMAT (although I'm retaking) and I wanted to know if anyone knows what are the expected dates the following universities will publish this year's essay topics: MIT
Harvard
Stanford
Wharton
Booth

According to the HBS admissions blog, they should be out later this week. Unsure of the other schools. Go back and look at the beginning of the 2012 threads to get a rough idea.

as of right now, tuck has released the application deadlines: January RoundDeadline: January 3, 2013 Notification: March 15, 2013 April RoundDeadline: April 2, 2013 Notification: May 24, 2013 November Consortium RoundDeadline: November 15, 2012 Notification: February 8, 2013 January Consortium RoundDeadline: January 5, 2013 Notification: March 15, 2013 http://blog.clearadmit.com seems to be a good place to watch for deadline and essay releases. I'll be checking it daily.

Interesting change. I really like it considering I do much better in interviews than in my essays. I wasn't going to re-apply to Harvard next year because of time constraints. Now I think it will be worth it, even though I know they don't really like re-applicants.

By lowering the bar to apply, they'll probably get more "what the hell" applications, thereby driving their acceptance rate down and helping them pull away from Stanford in the rankings.

Thanks for the approx. dates and the heads up with Harvard's essays.
This years topics are really interesting. I just read an interview to the managing director of MBA admissions and although she says they are trying to give the essay process a more introspective tone I think Kingfalcon's interpretation is very interesting, specially for an international applicant like me.
What are your thoughts?

With the recent changes in the essay topic, students will have to strive harder to differentiate themselves from others. I appreciate Harvard's initiative of hosting weekly Q&A sessions starting from June 1, I am sure these sessions will help students learn more about Harvard with two way communication.
