Few queries!! [#permalink] New post 23 Nov 2004, 16:24
Hi people!!

I took GMAT in Sep. 2004. Details

Overall 710 (quant 50, verbal 35)

In practise tests I used to score above 750, but I found the GMAT verbal section completely out of the line (in difficulty level) from the practise tests. I took the test in Delhi, India.

I plan to apply for Phd in Finance. But 710 is not competitive for Phd.

I have few queries. I would be thankful if you can answer them.

1/ What is the maximum possible score in Quant? If it is 50 or 51, what the hell does the 60-scale mean??

2/ Can verbal score be improved with 25 days preparation (say 2 hrs per day)?

3/ What is the scaled score I require in verbal to get 760?

I am a new member to the forum, and will welcome any kind of query in quant.

Thanks,

Shinny
