Hey just hoping I could get some thoughts on my general profile:

Relevant info:

Gmat: 740 (49Q, 42V)
GPA: 3.5 overall, 3.8 major
College: B.A. Film, Television, Digital Media at UCLA

College Things:
-Working around 20hrs/week during all of college (SAT instructor then private tutor)
-Last 2 years held 4 unpaid internships at various film companies

Work Exp;
-1.5 years producer/director/editor for new media site. I was responsible for creating short-form documentary work on upcoming bands, artists, and interesting happenings. Some clients included Universal Music Group, the Sunset Strip Music Festival and Puma.
-2.5 years assistant editor for a post-production house. I've worked on national commercial broadcast campaigns for brands including Hyundai, LG, AT&T, Lexus and Skyy Vodka. I'm currently acting as lead assistant editor on a low-budget feature film.

Extracurriculars
-Served as social media and events committee for UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television's Young Alumni Network, which is in it's inaugural year. We've done some mixer events and are in the process of planning a festival of new works and a speaker series for current students

Short Term: Digital media strategist for reputable ad agency like Wieden + Kennedy
Long Term: Little bit more vague, I'm really interested in the intersect of interactive content, storytelling and advertising, so potentially staying on the ad agency side of things or moving to a tech company like Microsoft.

Target schools:
Stanford, HBS, UCLA, USC, NYU, Columbia, UCLA

Should I even bother with H/S? Are there any other schools I should consider throwing in the mix? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, look forward to hearing from you.

Couple of things to consider:

1) you really shouldn't be applying to both HBS and Stanford. I have heard of rejections coming if either school gets wind that's going on simply because it demonstrates a lack of research into the cultures and environments of the two schools which are very different. In other words, if you fit at HBS, you are likely a poor fit for Stanford and vice versa.
2) You are applying where most entertainment and media grads apply, so you will be thrown into a very large pool with more challenging differentiation issues. I would also consider applying to other schools in the top 10 which aren't located in the entertainment and media capitals of the world, such as Kellogg, Booth, Ross, Tuck, Duke, etc.. At these schools, your background is more likely to stand out.
