Now after taking some diagnostic tests, having some know how of GMAT, browsing through GMAT Club and reviewing some threads, I have finally decided to use the following resources for my GMAT preparation

-Manhattan Complete GMAT Prep Set:
Contains 8 strategy guides, 3 official guides and 5 online CAT tests.
GMAT Prep Software & Power Prep Software
I will retain these till the end of my preparation
Other free resources (800 score.com non CAT tests)
Thes will be used for all the practicing phase.

Among the packages mentioned above, only the first item (MGMAT complete set) will be the one which I have decided to purchase. I also wanted to buy Kaplan but my pocket doesn't allow me. Even this purchase is too costly in my country's currency.

Now I wanna have your views that if I have the above material in hand and the six months time, can I cross 700?? Is it sufficient? I had to purchase only one package and I decided MGMAT, is this decision correct?? :?

I will love to have your feedback as my preparation is kicking off within this week. My diagnostic test was a good experience, I will share these moments shortly.

I haven't used all of the books in the MGMAT set, but it's probably sufficient.

Good Luck!

MGMAT will surely give you the much needed kick. But for CR I would prefer POWER SCORE BIBLE, its the best out there.

and yes most importantly after you go through these books you would need to practise a hell lot

OG 12th ed is one great book. and Princeton 1012 questions is another great book for practise and they are hell lot of pdf's and doc files out there if you search for each section

Dont forget the GMAT Club tests too

I agree with previous posters, MGMAT should be fine. Don't waste your money on Kaplan, simply - you won't get anything new from them compared to MGMAT. I haven't used MGMAT for CR and RC. If you have some issues with CR, use Powerscore Bible. If not, OG should be enough.

You should just think about using CATs earlier. You could start with Power Prep after 1 or 2 months of your preparation in order to boost up your stamina and your test taking skills.

Today I have ordered MGMAT complete prep set, hopefully it will be in my hands in a couple of weeks. I have started the mega preparation with the verbal part and specifically SC, OG11 SC portion is done. :)

Just need an advice regarding CAT tests. My plan is to go for CAT tests when I am done with all of my prepration stuff, then the scores will really let me kow my weak areas. If I go for CATs in the mid of my preparation, I will be frustrated to see the results as many of the topics would have been missed.

What do you say guys??
