Back when you graduated college, or moved out on your own, who did you turn to for financial advice?

Do you think a non-profit that focused on young adults and helping them prepare for things like insurance and 401ks would have helped?

<offtopic>Wee. I read this and think that life's so complicated there... Here, I don't need financial advice at all - I'm not insured, I don't pay taxes (except what is deducted from my salary) and I don't have to file a tax report. And yeah, I don't have loans as well.</offtopic>

Don't have to file taxes! Wow... talking about living on easy street :-D

Do you have some sort of international thing? I'm only asking because I've recently become certified for federal/state for domestic residents and haven't come across a situation like this.
