Re: Find F/|G|, where F and G are nonzero integers. (1) |F|=|G| [#permalink]
I disagree with AM1974...
G=|F| does not imply |G|=F (try G=5 and F=-5)

So, E is the answer.

Re: Find F/|G|, where F and G are nonzero integers. (1) |F|=|G| [#permalink]
(1)

|F|/|G| = 1 as both are +ve

F = -1, G = 1

F = 1, G = 1

So not sufficient

(2)

G = |F|, again

F = 1, G = 1

F = -1, G = 1

(1) and (2) together

G = |G|, and G is +ve then, but F can be -ve or +ve, so answer - E.

Re: Find F/|G|, where F and G are nonzero integers. (1) |F|=|G| [#permalink]
Statement 1:
If F and G are both positive F/|G| is 1
if F is negative and G is positive F/|G| is -1 ... Thus insufficient

Statement 2: G is always positive but F can either be positive or negative
If F is positive F/|G| is 1
if F is negative F/|G| is -1... Insufficient

Form I &2 :G is always positive but F can either be positive or negative ...Insufficient

E
