From statement 1 = 1 and 2
From statement 2= 0 and 1

So the answer is C

(1) K can be 1 or 2 - not enough
(2) K can be 0, 1, -1 - not enogh again

combine: K=1. The answer is C; yet, you have done an unforgivable mistake. :snipersmile:
