I highly object to such questions testing the limits outside of GMAT requirements. In fact, such questions should not be allowed because they only confuse people!!!

We discussed this matter many, many times, but you, guys, were not with us. Therefore, I say a gist of our long previous discussions: open up any school math book and make sure that 0^0 makes NO SENSE and so can be safely ignored. It is also helpful to memorize the definition of the zeroth power. Only then are you welcome to object.

Moreover, even if we admit that 0^0=1, this fact would not harm the answer A. I hope I have dismissed any further claims!!!
