(1) is sufficient S^4=S! there is only one solution S=1
(2) is insufficient S^4!=1 is the same as S^24=1 and S can be either 1 or -1

Answer is A

(A)... I agree with Sergey_is_cool :)

Just in stat2, S=0 is also possible as 0! = 1 :)
