B.the sum of the first two numbers is 22

Let x = the first even integer in the set
Then the four numbers are: x, (x+2), (x+4), (x+6)

1 says that sum of the last 2 is 30
(x+4)+(x+6)=30
2x+10=30
x=10 Thus x+6=16

2 says that sum of first 2 is 22
x+(x+2)=22
2x+2=22
x=10 Thus x+6=16

Either statement by itself is sufficient
