The answer is x=\sqrt{3} but I need to see the manipulation to get the answer..

Thanks

\(3x + x\sqrt{3} = 3+ 3\sqrt{3}\)

\(x(3 + \sqrt{3}) = 3(1 + \sqrt{3})\)

\(x = 3*(1 + \sqrt{3})/(3 + \sqrt{3})\)

\(x = 3(1 + \sqrt{3})/\sqrt{3}(1 + \sqrt{3})\)

hence x = \(\sqrt{3}\)

i think x\sqrt{3} should not be written like this ..it creates confusion because someone might think "\" is division ...
