Finished GMAT - 730 - Which B-Schools? [#permalink] New post 03 Sep 2007, 04:27
Hello all,

I gave my exam today. However, while finishing the second essay, there were roughly 5 seconds left.I clicked on next and in the pop-up, i clicked on No by mistake and it was time up.The window closed. Can anyone please tell me if the essay gets saved even after clicking on No. Has anyone else also faced a similar problem before?? :(

Thanks for your time
:)

Thanks! Thats quite a relief :-)

I have scored 730 ( V-40, M-50) and will have 2 yrs of work experience by next fall. My undergrad CGPA is 8.2 on a scale of 10 (82 %). My extracurricular activities are NOT exceptional.Which schools can I apply for since my work ex is lower than average (4-5 yrs) ??

For the benefit of others, I did not find GMAT Math too difficult. But this could be because I had earlier prepared for the management entrance exam in INDIA called CAT.The Math in CAT is atleast 5 times more grilling than GMAT Math.At the end of the day, GMAT is more a test of nerves than anything else.

Waiting for your suggestions.

Thanks
:)

well that is really a good score... you could apply to all the schools you want (probably not IMD since they place great importance on work experience); however, it depends if you can find something extracurricular... there must be something, it doesn't have to be rescueing the world ;-)

another topic: your score is really good, but i thought that a M50 and V40 ill yield a higher score...?? i know some with M50 and V40 who got 750, others got 720 with M48 and V40...

what do the experts think, is it decreasing or is it possible that one can get 750 and another 730 with the same M50 / V40 break??
