Did the Done in a Day program at Wake Forest today and just found out that I'm in with a $10k scholarship. Although it is my safety school I have become very impressed with the program, people there and the atmosphere of the school.

Also applying to UNC, Maryland and Gtown but won't find those out until Feb/March.

Anyway, glad that I at least know I'm going somewhere. Certainly helps with planning.

We should extend GMAT Club to allow Application specific information to be stored with ones profile!

Thanks.

My profile (pasted in from an earlier profile-request-thread):

GMAT: 660
GPA - hard to convert but I'd say around 3.1-3.2 (Swedish M.S Industrial Engineering and Management, did my Masters thesis at Johns Hopkins on brand management in transitional economies)
Work experience: 3 years by matriculation, not stellar on paper as I will have been at 3 different companies during that time. Also, my current title is far from awe-inspiring although my actual job responsibilities are more leadership oriented than that. I do expect to get officially promoted before matriculation.
Reco's will be good.
Extra currs: Mentor undergrad marketing students at local college
Youth soccer coach (girls - 6 year olds), former elite soccer player,

My target schools are Georgetown, UNC, Wake Forest and Maryland. Chances?

Should state that I will be 29 years next year and have a pretty interesting background - Russian mother, Swedish father, have worked and studied in Sweden, U.S, Russia and Australia. Come from an engineering/business background but got especially interested in marketing during my last year in school and have focused on that ever since.

LT goal: Career in brand management

Sure, I am restricted geographically. Wife is an attorney and is barred in DC, Maryland and NC. So I choose the schools that attracted me in those regions:

Wake Forest - love the small class size, strong in the southeast
UNC - strong brand management program
Georgetown - strong international business
Maryland - strong technical marketing

Duke was out becase my wife went to UNC..
