Berkeley is a master in financial engineering program. Quantnet has a ranking of them. Program is great so you can't go wrong if you go for it.

Thanks fr the info.....also would be f great help if u can help me out a little in my search fr suitable course.....

I am in the eairly stages of my search for a MSfin or master in financial engg. course. I hope to send my application by end jan-mid feb and want to enroll in courses which start btw jun-aug 2012 to feb-march 2013 (guess this time frame rules out many US universities but hope there are a few in europe I can apply for)

I am a graduate from IIT(Indian institute of Technology) Kharagpur which is amongst the top 3 engg. colleges in India and have a GPA f 7.5/10. I have cleared 2 levels of CFA and will appear for CFA L3 in june next year. I am currently working as an business analyst in HSBC(joined July 2011). Also I hope to score arnd 730-740 in GMAT.

Can you tell which kind of colleges should I apply for and if my profile is good enough for colleges like LSE, HEC paris etc.
Also which courses in US should I consider for my applications....

I have MSF offers from Purdue Krannert and Rochester Simon and I have to urgently decide. Both the programs are fairly recognized, but which one is better in terms of placing international students in US job market (especially IB or finance related jobs).
I have one year of experience in a big multinational beverage company but the experience is not directly relevant to finance or IB.
My stats are
3.0 GPA 680 GMAT
I have gotten scholarship at simon but still its tuition fee less scholarship is 47k in comparison to Purdue's 36k.
Kindly guide me. :|
