Five women bought dresses in a store for an average price of $96 each. A sixth woman bought a dress for $30 more than the average of all six. How much did she pay

A) 276
B) 132
C) 126
D) 102
E) 101

I would appreciate answer with explaination.
Thanks

Original sum : 5*96=480. Now the 6th's womens dress is x.

new avg: (480+x)/6=z we know x=z+30. now its (480+z+30)/6=6z. Just solve.

Now we want X so 102+30 = 132

x - price of dress #6 -> average = (x+5*96)/6 = x - 30 -> x*(5/6)=5*96/6+30 -> x = 96+30*6/5=96+36=132 -> B

132.

102 is the average price, question says that the 6th woman paid $30 more than the average, so we have 102+30=132
