How is the GMAT compared to CFA? ( only finance people would have a clue what I'm talking about)

Passed Level II so starting to hit the books for GMAT. I read that longest any1 should study is 3 months vs me spending 5-6 months for the CFA

Just want to get a sense what the intensity and dept of your GMAT study schedule were vs your CFA schedule?

I haven't taken my GMAT Prep test, want to save my 2 test for the end of the my study schedule

See this as to why I think you won't be wasting your gmat prep: what-is-the-best-way-to-start-the-gmat-journey-98067.html#p754966

Also, from what I understand (have not take CFA), is that the two don't have much in common or at least people who have taken CFA did not do well on the gmat... I think it may provide a sense of security around quant, which is not accurate.
