(E) for me.

I don't think their grandparents still find them miraculous.

The author is trying to say, I believe, that the appliances did not exist in their grandparents' times.

Therefore, "would have been a miracle" is better.

not sure between C and D ....maybe I would go for C.
Uhm, E is also ok as the ante-post pointed out : we should use ' would have" . But we can eliminate which/ that between : "the appliances" and "their grandparents" ,right?!

I was struck between C and D. I will go with D because c has "have found" - past tense, while the first part of the statement is "remains demanding" hence I think "would find" in D is more appropriate than "have find" in C. So my answer is D.

Thanks

Oops.

can is better than be able to
would have found is better than would have been

I have to change to (C).

@krisrini: I don't think it's the matter of agreement in tenses between the two clauses. " The grandparents..........a miracle." is an assumption. To be clear, we can make an if-clause here " their grandparents would have found miraculous if they had seen these appliances."

C contains the same point as E, but with far fewer words.

I go with C.

I do not like the "would have been a miracle" part in E
