D.

although is preferable over even if in this context.
miraculous (adjective) in D is preferred over miracle (noun) in B. Moreover, B uses passive voice.

C is best and maintains the logical sequesnce of tense... to predict, we need "can", not could.

I had a confusion on this, Looking at "would have found miraculous" i thought the second clause with If should have had+III form not if + can.
Any explaination for this?
