(B) To best extract their flavor, saffron threads should be soaked in liquid after pounding - Incorrect = Unidiomatic

(A)it can not refer to saffron threads which is plural."being pounded" is not necessary.Any unnecessary use of passive voice I would avoid.
(B)saffron threads ... after pounding Its like saffron threads are pounding.which is clearly not intended meaning.
(C)same problem with voice as the option A
(D)Proper usage of pronoun subject verb agreement and parallelism
(E)Subject Verb agreement same as (A)

I seems the issue with B, is the modifier "To best extract their flavor" is icorrectly modifying safforn threads which is illogical..
