Not sure I understand the ques. If x is supposed to be an integer (as the stem specifies) then none of the ans choices are correct as none of them is an integer ???

My mistake: Updated question

For three numbers x, y and z, x + y + z = 5, and xy + yz + xz = 3. What is the largest value which x can take ?
