$$x/2= (4-x)/4$$
$$x= 4/3$$

hence no of cups in 4-cup bottle= $$4-4/3$$
=$$8/3$$

let 1/x is the fraction

2/x + 4/x = 4

x= 3/2

4 cup bottle = 4/3/2 = 8/3
