France is actually under-represented in US business schools, so I would encourage you to reach for top 10 schools. Your experience would translate well into brand management, which is a very ripe recruiting field for employers who visit b-schools for hiring. You might at least target 2-3 good schools in the top 10 such as Duke, UNC, Ross, and Northwestern (Kellogg) to be your "reach Schools."

Thank you for the reply!

I will probably not apply to UT austin and try to apply to duke instead.

I will apply no later than round 2, and will probably not apply to more than 4-5 b-schools. What 5 schools do you advise me to apply for? In other words what school could be my "safe school" ?

Here is my list :

- georgetown
- Boston college
- university of connecticut
- duke
- USC ( Marshall)

Any other list?

Regards

Cam

That's a good list. BC and Conn would likely be your safety schools, Although McDonough should have a lot of interest in you since they value their international program and would benefit from having Western Europeans in the classroom.
