"Has" cries for "have" in order to make the sentence parallel.

It's C

A seems incomplete

C for me

From 1965 on, Yugoslavia’s standard of living has soared, but unemployment and prices too.

(A) but unemployment and prices too
Wrong comparison.. "soaring of std of living" compared to "unemplyment"
(B) and also unemployment and prices
and is not requried here..
(C) but so have unemployment and prices
CORRECT.... "has soared" vs "have",...Parallel
(D) and so also unemployment and prices
Wrong comparison again
(E) but so did unemployment and prices
"Has" vs "Did"..Doesnt sound parallel to me..
OA plz?

(C) for several reasons.

1. present perfect tense
2. but for the correct contradiction
3. correct use of so.
