Congrats and thanks for the debrief..
I completed my GMAT today morning and managed to score only 600(Q47 V26  ).
while preparing, I scored 660(Q48 V33) last week and 670(2 months back) in my GMATPrep..And 3 days back when I retook GMATPrep,I scored 760(Q51V44)(But many questions were repeated)...Even I took all these tests with AWA and break timings as per actual test.
Apart from this, I scored 600(Took the test after coming back from work and could not complete both the sections..Guessed so many questions) in MGMAT#1 two weeks back and 650 in MGMAT#2(Untimed) two weeks back..
I used Manhattan study materials,OG12,OG12 Verbal.
I wanted to take the test before pattern change.
My target score is 700+ and I am devastated on seeing my actual score.I am planning to retake it before this year end.
About my profile, I am an Indian IT male with 6+ years of experience.I have decent extra curricular(Active member of NGO -Participating in teaching kids in orphanage. Also I was in NCC in my college days)..But I know it is not possible to get into any of the decent programs with this score and profile..I am targeting few of the one year MBA programs in India,Canada,Singapore and Germany.Studying expense is one of the major concern for me and I am planning to apply only to those programs that are cheaper.
I don't know how to proceed further and I need advice to improve upon my score.
Please help.

First off don't get disheartened. You can definitely improve your score. Am I reading this correct that you only took 2 manhattan GMAT tests and took the GMAT Prep test maybe three times?

I would encourage you first of to review what you got wrong. Try to focus on any commonalities in order to identify missing fundamentals. When I did this I quickly recognized that I was really bad at sentence correction and permutations / combinations. I then went back to the MGMAT books and re-read them to focus on improving this area. I would encourage you to time yourself when you do practice questions. It sounds like timing is an issue. You should try to do a SC question in ~ 1 min and 15 sec. I would spend 2 minutes on CR and RC should be longer to read the passage but the questions thereafter should be much faster. On quant I would stress keeping your questions to no more than 2 minutes per and that should be an average - some will be much faster and some slightly longer. Any question you take 3 minutes or more on you should flag for review as you want to eliminate any and all that take longer periods of time as they can greatly impair your ability to do well.

I also think you need to stick to a time schedule like I did on quant. I personally never really had verbal timing issues so I am not sure what sort of schedule to recommend. I would advise you to try to to spend some time identifying your weakness areas then reviewing that material via the manhattan study materials. I would practice by going through OG questions. Then only then would I start to go through MGMAT tests and GMAT Prep tests. Keeping in mind you should always time yourself (to not is really a waste of a test).

If you can commit to 3 hours four nights a week plus 2 weekends of 5 hours days (mostly test taking and review) than you should be more than fine.

Hope this makes sense.

Hello Guys. Please i need the most valid information on an aspect of the GMAT exam. I am taking the exam in about 4 weeks from now. A lot of people have said that the first 10 questions are critical and could determine to a large extent, the overall score. Others have also said that the last 10 questions are critical as well, and a lot of time should be available to tackle them. Please can someone who is sure about this tell me more about it?. How does the GMAT algorithm work in this respect and which part of the exam is most critical to achieving the 700s?
