Netrix,
Congratulations on your score! I'm curious to know how exactly Knewton helped you in the Quantitative portion. I am thinking about signing up, and need some serious help in Maths for the basic and advanced questions.

Thanks,
Royaldane

Knewton help me to do a lot of exercises and remembered a lot my math concepts that I had previous acquired.
All the exercises were very similar to gmat exercises and the teachers were excellent, they show you how to solve a problem in the fastest way.
I like a lot the course, I would definitely recommend the course if you want to improve you math section. But remember, you are going to need a lot of time and practice. they have a lot of exercises!!
I hope it help!

Brigidete Crow and Jessica Nepom. They were great!

I haven't decided yet.
But I'm thinking of Darden, Tuck and Columbia as my first choices.

My gmat experience.

I also enrolled for the Knewton course that was VERY helpful for me because it allow me to remember key concepts of math and gave me a lot of exercise to practice. I enrolled in the Knewton course because of the 50-points-gurantee policy. I am glad to tell that I am not going to ask for a refund.

The course was great and I did it in only one month. Of course I had to watch a lot of the lesson on-demand.
About practice test that I took:
I took the 5 Knewton’s Test and I score on average 610. Before the exam I was worried over my performance. But now, I can tell you that Knewton exam are much harder than the real GMAT exam is.
I also did the Manhattan free test, and again, for me there were some exercises that were harder than the real ones.

Dear netrix.

Which course ( of Knewton ) did you actually take? The course with regular price of US$ 690 ( i.e. Premium Live ) or the one with US$ 350 ( i.e. Complete Prep )? Sorry if this question is a redundant one.

I am a gonna-be student of Knewton. I must say, I am impressed reading the reviews about Knewton. I am researching how much value does it add ( if any ) with the extra US$340 for the "Live Sessions" to the GMATees' prep. If the live sessions don't add that value ( by a considerable amount ), I am gonna purchase their Complete Prep for US$ 350 ( regular price ).

Thanks in advance for your reply! :-)

at my time it was only available the live classes (I think now called premium live)
but I actually took a lot of classes on demand
the demand classes are great and if you are planning to have different schedules I would recommend to go with complete prep option

let me know if you have other questions

Thanks a ton, netrix!

Do you think ( or, are you sure ) that LIVE classes will not be found as recorded in the ON-DEMAND classes? Good to mention, the time difference between Knewton's location and my location is 12 hours. I guess this might be a hindrance in taking my LIVE classes as those classes may take place at the time when I usually would go to sleep! If this is the case, what will you suggest me to go with? PREMIUM LIVE or ON DEMAND?

Cheers!

I would suggest to go with demand package. Especially if you have a 12 hours gap.
I know that Knewton offers different time tables, you have in the morning and in the afternoon/night.
if I were you, I would take the classes in the hours that I feel more comfortable and motivated to learn tons of material.

It is like the exam, take your practice exams always in the same hours that you are going to take the real exam or try as many time as possible.
please check and be sure if there is no other future in the live program besides the live classes.

The good part of the live classes is that you can answer the question live, apart from asking questions. Normally all my questions were answered in demand-classes.
If I didn't understand something or if had a doubt, I could write to them and had a great responses!
