Hi everyone...
I do realize no one really knows me here but I have been a proxy observer, reader, follower, fan of GMATClub. Kudos to everyone here who has certainly made this one of the best resources on the net for GMAT prep and beyond. This is my first post here and a happy one....
I first took my GMAT in Feb,2007 and scored 690 (Q - 48, V - 36). I really messed up my test. I couldn't complete the quant section. All I remember was that i was on question 33 or 34 when suddenly I got that a timed out message. This was a very rude shock for me because I always considered my quant to be my strength. I was so flustered that I couldn't even do reasonably well in the verbal section, which never my strongest point anyways.
But determined that I could score much better than 690, i re-took the test today and scored 760 (Q 51, V 41)!!!!
I am so relieved, and feel much more confident regarding my application to various school...which I will need to start soon...
I used the following:
1.)
OG:
OG rocks!!! Big time !!! Quant, SC, RC, all great and excellent explanations
2.) Manhattan SC: This to me is the best book on revving up your SC skills
3.) GMAT Club challenges: Good. And challenging, for sure.
4.) Princeton Review Online tests: this is good investment. am talking about the 4 tests along with the DVD version of the book
5.) Gmatter: Please do download it
Wont put in too much regarding study patterns. I am a working professional and all this is the result of hours stolen at work and spent at home. There is amazing advice on Gmat Club pages...
Anyways, all the best to all the aspiring people here.
