I have booked exam on Nov 16th. I was planning to decide whether to postpone exam based on my 2nd gmat prep test. Looks like I have to postpone.
Started preparation on July 16th to be exact. My first pre-preparation test score on princeton review was 570. I felt good!
Then I took kaplan, more princeton, gmat prep,
mgmat-all scores in range 530 to 590, and 590 was on first gmatprep exam. Yesterday I took gmatprep 2 and scored 570 AGAIN!!!! Same score that I got before preparation - which is very very frustrating. I have no clue what I am doing or not doing! I feel so low about the score that I am wondering why I started to prepare for gmat in the first place... I know I am not dumb... But looks like gmat thinks I am dumb.
I dint keep exact
error log, but I noted down where I kept making repeated mistakes. and practiced lot and lot more questions in that areas, in quant and verbal. I got the CR bible and done 3/4 way thru it. For quants I practiced lot of 700 and 600 levels from gmatclub.
I actually struggled to keep pace with time on Quants. But on verbal, I had 2 mins left when I completed the test. The split in the 2nd gmat prep is - 570, Q45 and V23. One thing I dont understand is this. The number of incorrect answers in Quants section is 21 out of 37. and The number of incorrect answers in verbal is 20 out of 41.
They are close. Also, I had 3 incorrect in the first 10 questions in both Quant and verbal. So I am stumped at what went wrong with my verbal score. I have no clue.
I also noticed in verbal that 8 SC, 8 RC were incorrect and only 4 CR were incorrect. I can definitely tell, CR bible is helping. But I need to perform a lot better than this.
I have atleast decided, kind of, that I am going to do part time MBA at UFL, sunrise. Last week I thought I need to aim for an even better college, but looking at my score now, I dont know if I will even get PT in UFL, that I want so badly!!!!
I am sad.. depressed... frustrated... unable to concentrate at work and my baby!! I am not doing fair to anything in life right now!!!
Please help! or advice, what can I do to improve drastically!!! Your advice is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

From your post, it seems that you have just been taking tests and doing questions (other than CR bible). Obviously, verbal is not working out for you. Don't question the GMAT prep score based on correct/incorrect questions. There are a lot of other factors in play so just accept the score and try to work on it.
You first need to go through theory of RC and SC too. You need to understand the different type of questions asked, what is expected of you in each type, what you need to focus on, how you can arrive at the correct answer etc (the way you are working on CR). Just running through questions will not help you very much since you will obviously not get the same questions in GMAT. It's not about how much time you put in your prep, it's about how you use that time.
Check out the Veritas RC and SC books. They will give you all the basics you need to be comfortable with to hit most questions running. Thereafter, practice with practice tests/
questions etc. You will certainly see improvement.
