Full time Volunteer [#permalink]
11 Sep 2008, 22:34
Hi all, I need some help with my applications when it comes to talking about my current work experience.
I am currently a full time volunteer and awareness campaigner for Autism.
I have been doing this for the last 7 months. I don't get paid for this. It is something i have been passionate about, and something where I am able to make a difference in. I have been spreading awareness through campaigns and events, etc. I travel my country, talking to schools and teachers, assessing various issues and problems they face, and possible solutions.
In the online forms for the application under current job, what category would i put this under? Social work?
hows the best way to put this across in my resume and online form?
Thanks for your help guys, and good luck!

Good for you with the Autism support. I have a family member who is afflicted so it's definitely a worthwhile cause.
I believe that non-profit is a category on most applications so I'd put it under that. Also it should be a unique asset in your application since most of us can't afford to work for a cause like that full time.
