If function f(x) satisfies f(x) = f(x^2) for all x , which of the following must be true?

(C) 2008 GMAT Club - [t]m25#22

* f(4) = f(2)f(2)

* f(16) - f(-2) = 0

* f(-2) + f(4) = 0

* f(3) = 3f(3)

* f(0) = 0

Can someone help me with this question? Im having trouble understanding the explanation.
