I'm mildly panicking because the due date is of course today for R1 admitted students, and I don't want there to be any hiccups.

You, of course, mean the 1st deposit is due today right? The second smaller depost isn't due until June if I'm not mistaken?

That is correct, the first deposit for $2,000. The second deposit of $1,000 is indeed due in June.

How long did you guys have to wait until you heard back? I had my interview last weekend. The website says March 13th for R2. But did any of you guys hear before then?

Fuqua doesn't send out decisions early. All admitted applicants are called on the specified day, in this case March 13.

The wait is the worst, fortunately you only have a couple more weeks.

Just got the email saying that my background verification is complete. It took 5 weeks all in all. Getting closer!

I also found out that a brand new apartment complex is opening, right across the street from Station 9. It's called Crescent Ninth, and looks very impressive. While Station 9 seems like the best option, at least socially, this looks pretty good in that it's a brand new complex, and it's so close to S9 that you still be able to hang out with the MBA crew. Just fyi

They must send out that email in batches because I just got mine too. I am an EA admit and it has been over 3 months, almost 4. Glad to finally get that silly, one sentence email.

Excited to post over here, rather than the "all applicants" thread.

FWIW, I was told we would shortly get access to the incoming student website. Admitted student packets would be mailed 3/18. Student buddies (if you elected to participate) would reach out early next week.

Of course, BDW is Apr 4-6.

Hi, international applicant from India. Very excited to have been admitted today.

However, I have been told that I need to take a Calculus course at an accredited college/university and get a C grade (or better) by July 15th. Any other admitted students on this thread that have had to do that? I'm assuming they expect me to sign up for an online accredited course?

Congratulations everyone!

Congrats to everyone! Does anyone have an idea of the schedule for BDW? Trying to determine travel plans to see when I should arrive/leave. Thanks!

I don't have a smarta** answer for that question. I would assume we'd get more information about registration and activities when we receive credentials to log into the new students site. Maybe someone who attended the Feb. 7-10 BDW can shed some more light.

Hi there ! I was told to take a Calculus course too, but I don't understand because I had a lot of calculus courses with great grade in my undergraduate, and had a very good GMAT math (49).

Anybody in this situation ?
