Just wanted to kick-start the GBR thread, its 10 days away!!!  Using Kry's format (hope you dont mind Kry!:)), please share: - When are you getting into Detroit/AA? - Where will you be staying? - Will you bring your Significant Other? - How will you get to the event (rent a car, public transport, etc..) - Anything else you want to mention? for me: - When are you getting into Detroit/AA? I will be driving up 10th morning- should arrive at about noon-ish - Where will you be staying? The Fairfield Inn - Will you bring your Significant Other? Yes- my wife is looking to meet all the other GMAT-club addicts - How will you get to the event (rent a car, public transport, etc..) Am driving up- so should have my own car - Anything else you want to mention? I am trying to see if I can golf on Sunday

I plan to go take a nap until about 1. - Where will you be staying? *The Four Points by Sheraton - Will you bring your Significant Other? *Yes, my wife - How will you get to the event (rent a car, public transport, etc..) *We will be renting a car - Anything else you want to mention? *How dare you guys all book the Fairfield Inn after I already made my reservations

*My student host is picking me up at the airport. I guess I'll take a taxi back or something.

oh I am so sorry I cannot come to GBR  I will be on a business trip to Bulgaria during that time ... and I will miss the first meeting of Ross gmatclubbers I hope that at least I am going to get my admit binder by GBR

I looked briefly at the schedule this weekend and there didn't seem to be a free period where we could meet up. Anyone have any ideas? I need to look at it more closely tonight.

That sounds like a good plan. Anyone know any restaurants in AA? I was sick when I went to visit, so I didn't eat much.

Depends on the cuisine that people would go for. For those who love italian, Zingermanns is a local favorite, but is very pricey. There is also Seva(Indian), Paesano (Italian) and a variety of other cuisines too. I like food. Preferably cooked food, unless its sushi. Other than that, I don't have too many qualifications.

* Extended Stay Deluxe (Have no idea how it is, except that the distance to Ross is 2.7 miles - Pricelined it)
