Hi Gmaters :) My problem is that I cannot pace my time in CR questions and my success is 60%. My questions are followed below.

1- Is GMAT reading comp. related with Critical Reasoning; that is when my Critical reasoning points improve does Reading Comp.points also improve (casual relation) or the linkage between CR and Reading is non-casual.

2- If the relationship which I have mentioned above is casual, do you advise the book of CR Bible by Powerscore? ( Note: I have finished Manhattan CR and Official Guide 11th and OG Verbal once)

3- If not what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance

Been there, had issues with the same concept of where people tell you to work more and more on SC, save time , use it for RC & CR. But if we don't have the necessary skills in RC & CR, time wont help.

I personally felt that one will hit a plateau with SC pretty soon. No matter how much we try, we will possibly get some of the most difficult SC wrong.

RC & CR are very much related. Increase your words per minute and read for ideas as many RC books say. This will directly help you in CR as you will read faster. Then apply the CR tactics. you will see better results. CR Q's wants you to think the way exactly the test makers think.

CR Bible by power score is good. It concentrates mainly on difficult Q's, which are LSAT like. You will definitely see an improvement if you work on it. You can grab LSAT official super prep or LSAT old papers from your library and work on them as well.

A 2 point increase in V increases score more than a 2 point increase in Q does. These days Q is getting hard for international test takers as well.

No, I am not saying that Don't spend much time on Q. I am saying spend time on your most weak areas.

From your post, I felt that you are most weak in CR & RC. If thats not the case I am sorry.

Concentrate on your most weak sections. If you have more than one or two , concentrate on them and identify when your improvement hits a plateau.
